Cancellations

Domain
Names
Domain names are nonrefundable. We are not
responsible for any type of typographical
or any other type of error.
If you hold your domain name with another
provider (i.e. Network Solutions or GoDaddy)
you will simply need to point the domain to
our servers by setting the name server to:

If you choose to physically transfer the
domain to Christian World Hosting from your
current domain registrar, please contact our
team to initiate the transfer process. There
are no fees to transfer domains, however you
will be responsible for the annual renewals
of $15 per year.
If you purchase the domain through ChristianWorldHosting.com,
you will be charged $15 per year - that we
will pay to Internic for "ownership"
of the domain. Domain name fee's are nonrefundable.
YOU OWN YOUR DOMAIN NAME - IT WILL BE REGISTERED
IN YOUR NAME. Be wary of hosting companies
that retain ownership of your domain name.
If you took advantage of our free domain
offer (new sign-ups for Gold and Platinum
packages), the domain will be registered for
one year free of charge to you. Additional
years will be billed at the normal renewal
rate of $15 per year. If you cancel your account
within the first 3 months, and received a
free domain, we must bill you for the domain
name ($15). This is not because you are signed
into any contract, this is only to recover
our costs for the domain name.
If you have additional domains that you would
like to have setup as redirects to your primary,
please be sure to provide us with those names.
Unlike other web hosting companies that charge
monthly fees for domain redirects, we will
set them up and host them at NO ADDITIONAL
CHARGE. You will only be responsible for your
annual domain registration fees.
Invoicing
All invoices are sent exclusively via e-mail
for credit card orders. We do not send invoices
through postal mail or fax. You are responsible
for directly updating, or notifying Christian
World Hosting of any changes to your credit
card (including, but not limited to card number,
expiration date, billing address, or card
status). Please note that it is your responsibility
to keep your account and contact information
current. Christian World Hosting is not responsible
for outdated email addresses or non-receipt
of email invoicing.
If
you are a registered Church, Ministry or Christian
Owned business, you may be eligible to be
invoiced rather than using a credit card for
your hosting fees. We do not invoice monthly,
this option is only available for the annual
hosting plans. Contact

Any
additional charges for extra services such
as GatewayDefender/MXLogic (Enterprise Level
Spam Filtering Service - $1.95 per account
per month), additional storage space ($5 per
GB) or extra bandwidth beyond allotted amount
($5 per GB) will be billed with your recurring
hosting fees each month on your billing date.
IMPORTANT
NOTE ABOUT LIMITS: 99% of our
Customers never reach their limits for disk
space and/or transfer. Should
your website reach these very high
limits that are allocated for your hosting
package, you will be notified
via e-mail. In is important to state that
the average website only uses 3 to 5 GB
of transfer/bandwidth per month and extremely
busy websites utilize 15-30 GB per month.
The website you are on now uses around 6
GB of transfer / bandwidth per month and
gets a couple thousand visitors each month.
This site also only utilizes around 150mb
of disk space. We hope this helps explain
limits and that it is something that 99%
of our Customer base never
has to worry about.
Refunds
We do not offer credits or refunds for hosting
time already expended and domain name registration
fees are non refundable. Because we have provided
you with DNS entries, usernames, passwords,
appropriated disk space, bandwidth/data transfer
and other resources, you are provided with
the ability to use your account. If you do
not use the services you are ordered, are
still obligated to pay for the account. The
reason for this policy is that even an unused
account uses valuable system resources that
we could have made available to offer other
customers and therefore, once you have ordered
our services you are obligated to pay for
your account. (The only exception to this
is within your 30 day money back guarantee
period.)
Late
Fees
We ask that you always keep your billing information
up to date. Like many web hosting companies,
we have chosen to not charge immediately upon
a credit card being declined. Most hosting
companies do charge $.50 to $1.00 whenever
a credit card is declined. This is because
our processors charge us a "per transaction"
fee, even if your card is declined. To update
your billing information at any time, please
click on the "Billing Update" link
from any page of our site or via your web
hosting control panel under the "Account
Management" section. We have simplified
this form to make the process quick and easy.
Should your account go beyond 10 days delinquent,
it will be suspended and if you wish to reactivate,
a $10 re-activation fee will be assessed.
Please note, before this time comes, you will
receive up to three (3) notices asking for
your action to update your account. After
20 days, accounts are considered abandoned
and are deleted from the server. If any outstanding
balance is on the account, ownership of the
domain transfers to Christian World Hosting
pending that balance and late fees being paid.
This is an absolute last avenue of recourse
- our goal is to never charge a re-activation
fee nor disable any domain, but we need your
help in keeping your account up to date. IF
YOU NEED A FEW DAYS OR WEEKS BEFORE YOU ARE
ABLE TO PAY, SIMPLY CONTACT OUR BILLING TEAM.
IN MOST INSTANCES WE WILL GRANT YOU A PAYMENT
DUE DATE EXTENSION. THIS WILL AVOID ANY SUSPENSIONS
OR RE-ACTIVATION FEES. Again, we just need
communication, otherwise the account appears
to be abandoned.
Chargebacks
After our 30 day money back guarantee, we
do not offer any prorated refunds for services.
If you choose to cancel your service, it will
become effective the last day of your current
billing cycle. Should you initiate a chargeback
with any credit card company, your account
will be fined a $25 chargeback fee. This is
the fee that we as the "merchant"
incur for erroneous chargebacks. If you have
any questions about billing, please contact
our billing team so we can investigate your
inquiry and rectify any problems at once.
Use
of Services
All services provided by Christian World Hosting
may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission,
storage, or presentation of any information,
data or material in violation of any United
States Federal, State or City law is prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted
material; trademarks; trade secrets or other
intellectual property rights used without
proper authorization; material that is obscene,
defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat,
or violates export control laws. Please
be aware that we will not allow the publishing
of adult content, violent content or any other
type of questionable content on our servers.
Adult
Content
Christian World Hosting does not
allow the publishing of any pornographic materials
on the webservers. Publishing any adult content
will result in immediate and permanent account
suspension and deletion.
System
and Network Abuse
Violations of system or network security are
prohibited and may result in criminal and
civil liability. Examples of system or network
security violations include, without limitation
the following: unauthorized access to or use
of data, systems or networks, including any
attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability
of a system or network or to breach security
or authentication measures without express
authorization of the owner of the system or
network; interference with service to any
user, host or network including, without limitation,
mail bombing, flooding, uploading of Telnet
scripts of any sort, deliberate attempts to
overload a system and broadcast attacks; forging
of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of
the header information in an email or a newsgroup
posting.
Email
Disk Space Storage
Accounts are given a generous amount of disk
space that is shared among your website, email,
configuration and system files. Clearly the
server has storage capacity but that primary
purpose of the disk space allowed is for your
website. We strongly recommend that you download
your email to a program on your computer regularly
and that you set up limits on each email box
(using the Mail Manager tool). In order to
prevent abuse, the following guidelines have
been established. Email stored for over 3
months on the server may be deleted by our
system without notice and will not be recoverable.
If the aggregate of your email and webmail
disk usage exceeds 25% of the total disk space
or 250 megs of disk space on your account
you may be required to reduce the amount of
email stored on the account if it is found
to adversely effect the performance of the
web-server or network.
Spam/Mass
Email Policy
Christian World Hosting is committed to a
zero-tolerance, anti-spamming
and mass e-mailing policy. Sending unsolicited
(or mass solicited) bulk and/or commercial
messages over the Internet (known as "spamming")
is prohibited, regardless of whether or not
it overloads a server or disrupts service
to our customers. The term "spamming" also
includes, but is not limited to, maintaining
an open SMTP policy, engaging in spamming
using the service of another ISP or IPP and
referencing in the spam a web site hosted
on a Christian World Hosting server, and selling
or distributing software (on a web site residing
on a Christian World Hosting server) that
facilitates spamming. Violators will face
immediate suspension and a $100 fine. Christian
World Hosting servers are not to be used to
send mass-emails, even if the list is targeted.
We are a web hosting company and we provide
e-mail service but we are not a bulk e-mail
handler. Christian World Hosting reserves
the right to determine, in its sole and absolute
discretion, what constitutes a violation of
this provision. In general bulk/mass email
is defined as sending the "same email"
to more than 250 people on any given day.
Disclaimer
Christian World Hosting service is provided
on an as is, as available basis without warranties
of any kind, either express or implied, including,
but not limited to, warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Christian World Hosting expressly disclaims
any representation or warranty that the Christian
World Hosting service will be error-free,
secure or uninterrupted. No oral advice or
written information given by Christian World
Hosting, its employees, licensors or the like,
will create a warranty; nor may you rely on
any such information or advice. Christian
World Hosting and its partners and suppliers
will not be liable for any cost or damage
arising either directly or indirectly from
any transaction or use of the service.
Limitation
of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE
LAW, IN NO EVENT, AND UNDER NO THEORY OF LAW
OR EQUITY, WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS
OF A DOMAIN NAME, OR ANY BUSINESS OR PERSONAL
LOSS, REVENUES DECREASE, EXPENSE INCREASE,
COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS AND/OR AJT'S
SERVICES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER,
OR FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
PUNITIVE OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING
OUT OF ANY USE OF, OR ANY INABILITY TO USE,
ANY CHRISTIAN WEB HOSTING SERVICES EVEN IF
AJT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGES.
Refusal
of Service
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or
suspend service at our sole discretion.
